Foundation cancer screening program active

Between March 2001 and September 2001 the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation underwrote the costs of 224 mammograms and 37 PSA tests at 14 participating medical facilities. Under this program awards are given to the facilities so that men and women may have this screening who are otherwise unable to afford the tests. The Foundation has a goal of improving peoples' lives through making greater access to health care possible.
