The Missoula based Washington Companies held a blood drawing October 30 in a show of support for survivors of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The drawing was pronounced a success with 42 donors showing up for the 35 scheduled drawings by the Missoula Chapter of the Red Cross.

The Missoula Companies represented were: Envirocon, environmental construction and remediation; Equipco, machinery maintenance and repair; Modern Machinery, heavy equipment sales; Montana Rail Link, rail transportation; and Washington Corporations, business support services.

The drawing also observed the destruction of the Washington Group International office on the 91st floor of Tower 2 of the World Trade Center and the loss of thirteen colleagues in the attack.
